"You Never Told Me"
(based on true testimony)
All my life I served the Lord well.
Always thankful my soul had been redeemed from Hell.
Always in church every Sunday sitting in my favorite pew,
gaining spiritual strength because I knew that though many are called those that answer will be few.
On my journey with the Lord I went back to my hometown where I visited a good friend of mine I had known since I was a kid.
I never shared with him about the Lord because I was afraid
he wouldn't like me anymore if I did.
I told myself, next time I go back I will tell him about God
even though deep down inside I knew he was lost.
That night I had a dream that I was in Heaven surrounded by Heavenly angels sitting at the Lord's table.
Jesus called my name and said..."there is something for you to see and a large black screen appeared in front of me.
He asked me what I saw,I said,I see nothing at all.
He said look down and I'll show one of the reasons you were called.
I looked and I saw flames and heard terrible screams and wondered what this could be, as the piercing eyes of my Saviour were staring at me.
Then I saw a hand come out of the flame and to my surprise he knew my name.
He said, "I shouldn't be here in this eternal misery,but the reason that I am is because,"You never told me!"
I too once was lost. I understand know very well the heartache that life can sometimes bring.
If no one ever told you that Jesus loves and died to save you, now someone has.
You are somebody! I know how it feels to feel like your life doesn't have any significance or value but the truth is that if you had been all alone on this planet known as Earth, Jesus would have still carried that big,heavy cross up Calvary's hill for you and you alone!
Do you want to know what true peace and contentment are?
Just say this simple prayer;
Jesus I know that I am a sinner,
I know that you died for me.
I ask you right now to come into my
heart and forgive all my sins.
I surrender my life to you now
and ask you to be the Lord of my
life now and for the rest of my
life. Thank you Jesus for
making me your child and for
making something meaningful
out of my life!

I would also suggest that since you've made this wonderful life decision that you search in your area for a church that preaches and teaches the Bible and get involved in a new convert's class or maybe a descipleship program to help you grow and prosper as you begin your wonderful journey as a new Christian!
